Let’s Celebrate What Didn’t Happen

In previous posts, we discussed the importance of feeling good so we can vibrate at a good frequency and therefore attract good things into our lives.  We’ve also talked about how when we are grateful, our vibration just naturally increases.

As I was walking downstairs this morning, I almost tripped and fell.  Actually, I did trip, but I didn’t fall. After I got done saying “WHOA!”, I realized that if I had fallen, I could have really been hurt.  Falling down the steps at 6AM could have really messed up my day.

It got me thinking…… what else didn’t happen that I can feel grateful for?  Continue reading

3 Magic Words

“Knowledge without action is like having no knowledge at all.”

Bob Burg, perhaps best known as the co-author of “The Go-Giver” said that, and I think it is one of the best pieces of advice I’ve ever heard.  You can be the most knowledgeable person on the planet, but if you don’t take action, no one will ever know; more important, no one will ever benefit from your knowledge. How Can We Feel Good When Things Are Bad?

In our last post we discussed the importance of feeling good so we can attract the good we want.  By far, the most common question I hear from people is:  How the heck am I supposed to feel good when I’m surrounded by, and therefore constantly reminded of my current reality, which makes me feel bad?

Let me start by acknowledging the obvious~ it sounds crazy!  The idea of feeling rich when your bank account is empty sounds crazy.  Continue reading

Good Vibrations~I’m not talking about the song

I like to pretend.  Let’s pretend someone asked me “what is the most important thing to know when it comes to understanding the Law of Attraction?”  My answer would be two words, separated by a slash: Feelings/Vibration.  The most important thing to know when it comes to understanding the wonderfully simple (so simple, many don’t believe it) Law of Attraction (LOA), is the one thing that truly matters, and that is how you are FEELING. It’s a Conspiracy Theory!

When we hear the term “conspiracy theory” we probably conjure up a picture of someone (usually the bad guys) plotting against us.  So here’s a conspiracy theory, which many (including moi) believe is a fact, which summons a different picture:
The Universe is conspiring to help you!

Think of the possibilities!  The Universe, God, Infinite Intelligence, this Higher Power, whatever you choose to call it, is conspiring to help YOU.  Now even if you don’t fully believe it, just consider it.  What if all this Law of Attraction stuff is true?  What if we really do become what we think about, as Earl Nightingale suggested?

As I see it, we have absolutely nothing to lose and everything to gain~and enjoy and celebrate and appreciate.  There is no downside risk!  If you’d like to test this theory, here’s my suggestion:
1. Decide what you want
2. Think about having it more than you think about not having it
3. Keep telling yourself “The Universe is conspiring to help me”
4. Pay attention, look for evidence, notice what you notice.

Life is meant to be fun and dynamic and easy…so easy.  That doesn’t mean lazy, it means uncomplicated.  Whatever your goals, whatever your dreams, whatever your challenges or obstacles…Take it EASY today!  Remember…

What Are You Today?

Do you ever notice what you’re thinking as you make the transition from sleep to awakeness?  (Is awakeness even a word?) You know, those moments when you first wake up and you’re laying in bed thinking “What day is it?  What time is it?  What do I have on my agenda today?…..”

As I woke up this morning, the first thought I was aware of thinking was “What am I today?”  I literally heard that question in my head.  Continue reading

The Go-Giver, I’m not talking about the book!

Without question, one of my all-time favorite books is The-Go-Giver written by Bob Burg and John David Mann.  As the subtitle indicates, this is “a little story about a powerful business idea.”  I like it and the follow-up, “Go-Givers Sell More” so much that I have partnered with Bob Burg and become certified to teach this wonderful material. But I’m not here to talk about the book; I’m here to talk about the principles of the book and just how powerful these ideas are. Continue reading

“This is Linda, and I can help you”

When I call to schedule service for my car, the young woman who answers the phone says “Thank you for calling ______.  This is Jennifer and I can help you.”  I still remember the first time she said that to me a few years ago.  I was, for a moment, speechless.  Then I said “Wow! I love that!” Continue reading

Actually, I can and I do.  I realize it’s a gift.  My head hits the pillow and I generally don’t wake up till morning.  It’s one of those things I might take for granted, if it weren’t for the occasional restless night.

A few days ago, a friend was telling me how he couldn’t sleep.  “I fall asleep, no problem. Then at 2 or 3 in the morning, I wake up and that’s it!  I’m done!  I toss and turn and drive myself crazy EVERY night!”  Continue reading

It’s a Trick Question

I really like trick questions, because they require that I stop and think before answering. So here’s one for you: Is the room you’re currently in big or small?  If you answered either big or small or even pretty big or pretty small I would have to hit the proverbial WRONG buzzer.  The correct answer is “I can only answer that question by comparing the room to something else.”  Right?
